Founder and Director of both Idleads and The Hubble, Deon Babu is a seasoned expert in the Learning and Development (L&D) field, with over 30 years of experience, including more than 20 years as an entrepreneur. His extensive career spans various industries such as government, banking, services, and manufacturing, where he has held senior management roles. Deon has a proven track record in strategically establishing, project managing, and enhancing training departments. His comprehensive understanding of the training landscape allows him to design and implement effective training solutions tailored to meet diverse organisational needs.
As a versatile facilitator, Deon delivers both classroom-based and online training programs, employing adult and experiential learning methodologies. He has facilitated courses at numerous tertiary institutions and within various sectors across Southern Africa, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia. His approach is anchored in experiential learning and reflective practices, ensuring that training is impactful and learner-centered.
Currently, Deon serves as the Managing Director of Idleads (Pty) Ltd, an accredited training company, and The Hubble (Pty) Ltd, a retail store specialising in printing, branding, and personalised gifts. Passionate about personal development and mastery, Deon continuously seeks opportunities to add value.
